Menus Grooms Love for Rehearsal Dinners
Luckily, you don’t have to spend the entire evening practicing the walk down the aisle, you’ll still have time for a great meal with your family and friends. Since this is a great opportunity for your two families to get to know each other better, a casual menu of comfort food like BBQ, Italian or Mexican is just the ting. This isn’t the “good-enough-food” we find offered at many food outlets, these are slow foods made the old-fashioned way.
Rehearsal Dinners Menus
Barbecue Menu
The REAL Deal (three meats and three side dishes) is currently our most popular Barbeque package for rehearsal dinners. We can bring the buffet to your location (park, church, event center, private home, hotel) and have it all set up when your guests get there. We have some recyclable/disposable chafing dishes to keep your meal warm so that you don’t have to worry if people arrive a bit late. We’ll bring everything you need (like plates, forks, napkins, drinks) so you or your family won’t have to do a thing to get the meal ready–a real blessing on a busy day!
Alternatively, if you can get your favorite Aunt to make up a few side dishes, we’d be glad to provide just the meat. Look to the Bulk Meat Straight From the Pit section of our Barbecue Catering Menu.
Italian Menu
The Homemade Lasagna and big bowls of salad with homemade dressing and warm rolls are especially fun served Family Style. We can place the platters on the table and your family can politely pass them around (or push and shove and throw rolls depending on your family.)
Mexican Menu
Choose a guest-pleasing Build Your Own Taco Bar or our Tostadas of Smoky Pork Tinga. Call your Mexican beer and Tequila order into our recommended liquor store and we’ll pick up your order, chill it and deliver it for you.
Our staff love Mexico One Plate at a Time with celebrity chef Rick Bayless. So when Rick opened his show by saying that it is rare to pass a street food vendor in Central Mexico without detecting the smoky aroma of shredded pork with smoky chipotle chile, tomato and sweet onion, Tinga Chef Bayless called it, our staff whipped it up and served it on soft tacos with avocado and cheese. We’ve had it on the menu ever since. Deliciouso!
Heavy Appetizers
An evening of hearty appetizers can satisfy everyone. A recommendation of how many pieces to order is included on the Appetizer Menu.
We’ll Cater to Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming
We’ll be glad to cater your rehearsal dinner, groom’s dinner or reception in Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Wellington, Estes Park, Greeley, Cheyenne, Lions, Red Feather Lake, your favorite park, church or your own backyard!
Tents, Chairs, Tables, Margarita Machine, We’ve Got You Covered
It is hard to have fun when you are doing all the work, which is why we can deliver everything you need for a great party. We have chairs, tables, tents, disco balls, margarita machines, tablecloths, real china and flatware. Let us know what you might need and we’ll include it in your proposal.
Let’s Get Started Planning Your Rehearsal Dinner
Our clients have told us that it helps them when we put together a written proposal as a starting place. We’d be glad to do that for you, too. Email us some details about your best guess as to how many guests might attend, when and where you’ll hold your meal and either a menu idea or a budget, and we’ll figure it all out for you and email it right back.
We Can Cater Both Your Wedding Reception and Your Rehearsal Dinner
We can help you develop an menu for your rehearsal dinner that is quite different from your wedding reception. Your guests will know that you choose two great menus and you’ll have an easy solution.
